About

I am a researcher who works in the bridging fields of mathematics and theoretical computer science, including graph theory, computational complexity theory and cryptography. I am also actively involved in AI and machine learning research projects. Apart from the university’s academic position, I have an ongoing engagement with the ANZ Bank, working on a variety of data science projects and activities to bring new innovations with a positive impact on society.

August 2019 – Sep 2022: I was a research fellow at the School of Computing, the Australian National University (ANU), Canberra. My primary research focus was exploring the use of confidential computing to expand the scope of privacy-preserving data sharing and machine learning across financial institutions and government agencies, under ANU’s Translational Fellowship Scheme led by A/Prof. Kee Siong Ng.

April 2019 – current: I am a data scientist at ANZ’s Customer Research, Analytics and Insights group. This engagement opportunity allows me to apply computer science, machine learning and data science knowledge to the banking industry, directly and effectively contribute to impactful projects at different scales, and through the unique and excellent open problem-solving and project-related skills to facilitate the group
to deliver projects at high standards.
